"The Mallory Hope Ferrell book has a section on Boaz with about eight photos of that specific area.. shanty and all of that....I know looking thing up in a book is not a fashionable as using the internet........ but it's there."

Which are the Jim Shaughnessy photos. Jim also wrote an article "Boaz to Blue Ridge" in the Spring 1975 issue of Railfan magazine which included these same photos.
