IN CITY AND COALFIELD
------
Branch House at Princeton
Armour & Company have just purchased railroad frontage on the Virginian at Princeton with the intention of locating a branch house at that point. It is understood that Swift & Co. will do likewise and are now in the market for a site.
------
New Double Track
Some time today six or seven miles of new double track on the Norfolk and Western will be put into commission for the first time. This double track extends from Glen Alum to Jim, a small flag station about one mile east of Devon.
------
No Accidents on Division
For the past two or three days there has not been an accident on the Pocahontas division of the Norfolk and Western that has brought injury to a single trainman.
------
[It's a relief to have no trainmen accidents to report for a few days.]
