Hi Listers,

What I saw on the Roanokerailcam.com at noon today. Parked on
the Valley line was an officer's special. The ten cars visible stretched
down to the bridge. It left heading north about 1:00pm. Anybody know
what's going on? By the way the next to the last car was the full dome.

Other interesting trains seen over the noon hour were:

1. An east bound wide load special on the far track. It was two lease
engines and a flatcar with a tarp load that hung over the sides.

2. East bound general freight with the second unit being an ex-Soo
Line Indiana Railroad SD something. Bringing up the rear was a Schnabel
(sp?) heavy load car.

3. Track crew with Hi-rail trucks and other machinery.

4. 123 car west bound empty coal train.

It was a great time to be watching trains on Roanoke rail cam.

Take care, John Hecker
