IN CITY AND COALFIELD
------
Robert Lee Returns
The Southern Express Company's dog, Robert Lee, as he is familiarly called by the men about the express office, returned yesterday afternoon on train No. 1 from Roanoke where he went on Thursday for a visit, it being his first trip out of the city. Robert intended to return yesterday morning on No. 15 but the Roanoke boys thought so well of him that they decided the train left the magic city too early, so his sleep was not disturbed until the later train ran. Some of the men seem to think the trip was enjoyed so much by the dog that he will acquire the habit and become a mascot whose presence on any train cannot be questioned. The dog is owned by W. L. Turner.
