DECISION THIS WEEK
------
Interest in D., T. & I Receivership Revived by Mr. Johnson's Visit to New York
Interest in receivership of the Detroit, Toledo and Ironton has again gained a position of prominence among railroad men because of a visit to New York by George P. Johnson, general superintendent here, who it is known has been offered the position and who it is confidently believed will accept the place if his terms are met. The general impression seems to be that the matter will be definitely decided this week and the majority of well informed. local railroad men seem to be of the opinion that he will take the place if his terms are met. If he does take the place there will be a splendid vacancy on the western division of the Norfolk and Western and all kinds of speculation regarding Mr. Johnson's probable successor is rife, but it is impossible to get any reliable information as to who will succeed him.
