Prospect, VA Depot in the news

Well, when they are gone they are gone.  How much is too much, and will the next
generation appreciate the effort?  I wrestle with all these thoughts, but my
feeling is that 20 years from now whatever price we pay will be looked at as
insignificant. We don't even think about the towns that let their depots slip
away but we all enjoy seeing the rebirth that is taking place around our
restored depots in Marion, Pulaski, Bristol, and many more I don't even know
about.

I agree that saving the poor Prospect Depot seems a stretch. Meanwhile the
Boones Mill station is much better condition but is in danger of being torn
down.

I'm also really shocked about this news given the building's condition.
