Ron,

Thanks very much for the great coverage of the Randolph St. track & signal swap. I understand the improvements were necessary, but, at the same time, it is sad to see all the old tracks and signals disappear.

Norfolk Southern switched off the old color position lights (CPLs)
and turned on the new signals. CPLs were coming down with amazing speed.

Two main line tracks were cut and "thrown" into new alignments to
eliminate those S-curves that have been around since the steam days.
