Cut at Oakvale

As I recall, The material excavated from the cut was used to build the fill 
portions of the Kellysville connection in 1960 following the N&W-Virginian 
merger.  The plans called for the relocation of the N&W main line into the 
new cut and thereby reduce the curvature at that location, but that part of 
the project was never carried out.
