Fascinating story and photos. I did have one question on the date of the photo of the Mill Creek Coal Company Store. The caption states that it was demolished in 1950, and I thought "that can't be right, look at the fuel pumps in the front". BUT, then I did my homework and relearned that pumps like those were first introduced by Tokheim in the mid-30's. (The American Gas Station, Michael Witzel).

Great history and makes me feel even better about the great BTS tipple and the JL Storm Lake Mobil Gas Station kits.

Jim,
Thanks for the pointer. There is a photo there titled MILL CREEK COAL & COKE TIPPLE AT WEST FORK HOLLOW. Th Can you provide any more information on the exact location of this tipple? Was it further "up the holler" from the large tipple that was not far from the railroad wye?
Thanks,
Jim Cochran
