Last year i made a trip to Suffolk,VA and discovered this building.  Was wondering if anyone knew the history of the building.

Nice find, Bill, and later postings provide positive identification.  The salient question is: who owns the building now?  Looks like it could be a fixer-upper for someone with cash and motivation.
