HTML Attachments

Upon re-reading my original post, I see it wasn't as clear as it could have been. The problem might lie with the settings of the person sending the message.

There is a setting in my email to compose (or send) messages in either plain text or html. If the message is sent as plain text, newer software might not display the message correctly.

As an example, I sent an email to my wife after my email software was updated and it did not display correctly on her computer. I changed the setting in my email to compose/send messages as html (it was previously set to "text") and re-sent it to her. The email displayed correctly on her computer after I changed the setting on my computer.

The "new and improved" HTML5 standards sure make a mess of a lot of things for those of us who were happy with something older that wasn't broken.

Perhaps one of the NWHS website administrators can provide a better explanation.

If others have also noticed changes, then I'm glad I raised the question.

Vince, I have the same problem when opening messages that begin with "HTML Attachment was scrubbed." The message is buried in a lot of gobbledygook. There must be some way to tell my ancient laptop to present these messages in an alternate format but I've not attainted that level of perfection yet. Anyone out there who can point me toward enlightenment.
