OK, that begs another question -  symbols TC-1, TC-2, TC-3 and TC-4handled traffic between Buffalo and Kansas City in the 1970s andmaybe later than that.  Inter-divisional crews handled these trains betweenBellevue, OH and NE Tower (near Fort Wayne).  This was N&W'sFostoria District, formerly NKP.  From NE Tower to Peru, IN.,  thecrew continued on the Huntington District (ex-Wabash).   The Fostoria
District observed Eastern Standard time and the Huntington Districtwas on Central Standard time.  So did the crew on TC-3 (for example)turn their watches back an hour en route and what times were shown ontheir time tickets ?  If they used local times, seems they would cheat themselves out of one hour of service going off duty at Peru.  MaybeN&W's payroll department took this into account.                                                                     Harry Bundy
