   Is there a number plate on the K-4  now I tried to give them one for it . A cast aluminum reproduction . But never got and cooperation from them.

I'm sorry for the delay, but I finally made it over to Riverside Park here in Lynchburg and took a few shots of Virginian C-1 #64. Its actually quite nice looking! The city finally built a roof over it and the C&O K-4 which resides there with it, something they should have done in 1962. If they had, perhaps the Southern coach, which was also there, would have survived! I think its well worth a look if any Virginian fans happen to be passing through the Hill City. I live embarrassingly close to the park, but rarely go there. Its a beautiful spot and I recommend it. The north-west corner of the park offers a nice view of the Southern Railway trestle over the James River. -Ed Burnett, Lynchburg
