Okay everyone:

Here is good news you have been awaiting. The Timonium train show at the Timonium Fair Grounds' Cow Palace is a GO!

It's just under 3 days away as I write this, so guys, I hope you got your honey dew chores completed this past weekend. Weather is looking good

October 2-3 are the dates this time around and yes, it is returning to its' more familiar territory with lots of parking, and almost as much "social distancing" space between tables and operating layouts in the 3 (THAT'S RIGHT), three huge rooms of goodies for everyone to pore thru for the books, magazines, videos, models, parts, railroadianna or whatever to choose from.

Oftentimes there are several railroad historical societies in attendance so check the gsmts web site for the exact listing of who and what will be there. In the past, groups representing the PRR, SAL, ACL, N&W, C&O, B&O, WM, B&O RR Museum, and others have been in attendance.

Between your various purchasing sessions, there is also food available to chow down on in the center hall rear.

There are typically true bargains for the choosing so after the last 18 or so months, the dealers with their goodies, the historical societies and lots more to choose from should keep your arms FULL..

The hours are 9-5 Saturday and 10-4 Sunday and there is an admission fee.

PS - The Baltimore Ravens football team is playing at 4:30 that Sunday afternoon and the baseball team also known as the Baltimore Orioles is closing out another disappointing season and is not in contention for the post-season, so those potential conflicts should not be factors. All the baseball games will not be starting until 3 PM local time Sunday so even that won't be a conflicting factor.

Hope to see you there sometime over the weekend.

Please remember to be safe and think safe at all times.
