Cloverdale VA Station Question

Looking at the 3 photos that you shared, it seems as though they shortened
the station. Notice the door window pattern to the right of the bay window
in the OWL photo. If you ignore the open door, and start at the closed
white door with dark trim, the door-window-door-window pattern is
reproduced at the left most front ( from trackside) edge of the newer
station. Further the baggage handling dock in the older OWL photo matches
the lower portion of the station that is not sided in the newer VT picture.

And, if you look at the NWHS slide, you can clearly see the station is
close to the street crossing. In the newer VT photo, you can see that the
foundation of an old building is close to the camera. I believe this is
the foundation of the portion of the original station that was removed.

The only thing that I am not certain of, is the chimney location... it may
not match. you can just see it to the right of OWL's camera, and it
appears to be too far to the left, to match the position I would expect in
the newer VT image.
