Blacksburg Grand Union Terminal Station and End-of-Track

Abe,

That is absolutely the finest photo I've ever seen of Blacksburg Grand 
Union Terminal Station.

Most photos simply show the end of the platform and a train standing 
directly in front of the station. If I'm oriented correctly, I believe 
that is Draper Ave. in the foreground and the station site is now a side 
parking lot for the Blacksburg public library.

All the photos you shared today certainly made for an enjoyable 
Saturday! How in the world did you get away with taking so many photos 
as a NW employee and while on duty no less? Didn't your fellow employees 
razz you for being a railfan? Based on my experience, the typical 
attitude on any RR is "just do your job but never express any interest 
or excitement about doing it".
