Glenn; thank you so much for the info. It's very good to know that your
ongoing series is continuing. Sadly, and sorry to use this again as an
example, I can think of at least two or three of the guys who used to hang
out with Freshwater Salmon and sometimes the Crazies who we would normally
ask for exactly the kind of information about Elmore that you're looking
for. Yep: they're looking down on us now, and they're probably wishing we
had asked more about that when they were with us.
Again, a not very subtle opportunity for me to go into my rant, that many
of you have heard at the conventions and such, that we need to ask these
questions and get these memories recorded in one form of another while we
still can. And don't be like me: I was so tongue tied that when Skip
(Freshwater)Salmon introduced me to Greeley Wyatt at a convention (Greely
had been supervisor in charge of the Mullens Motor Barn for quite a while)I
couldn't come up with a coherent question to ask him. We lost him within
the next year.
