I’m currently modeling portions of the N&W between Roanoke and Bluefield in HO around 1975. Specifically focused on the switching opportunities around Salem and on the Celanese plant in Narrows. With “Roanoke” and “Bluefield” as staging on either end. 

On a previous layout I used the Roanoke to Winston-Salem line as inspiration, though the layout was not very true to prototype. The closest thing to prototype there was a model of the Texas Tavern in Roanoke (lol).

I am expanding this question beyond members of the model committee:

If you have ever modeled, are currently modeling, or have ever thought about modeling some portion of the N&W, what part would it be?

It could be the whole thing, a division, a branch, the area around a town or as in Mike Rector's case, a specific siding.

I will tally this information and report the results which will be used for future product consideration.
