<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">There was a strange signal system in effect west of Decatur referred to as <b>MBRC</b> - Manual Block - Remote Control. Using a Traffic Control panel, the Decatur dispatcher could control the signals, but not the the switches. The train crew would go to a meeting point, stop, and manually line the switch to the siding.
