<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto">Morning,<div><br></div><div>Whomever is writing this please do not falsely speak for all “younger people.” I’m considered a younger person in comparison (40s) to the bulk of the membership & the reason I joined NWHS was ONLY to learn about the Norfolk & Western & I joined the Nickel Plate for the same with NKP. I’ve also joined the C&O to learn about the C&O & NOT CSX which I joined the CSX Trans Historical Society to learn about CSX. Other younger folks I know have expressed the same. If that’s the case then change the name to reflect that the intention is to be N&W as well as NS Corp rather than falsely reflecting the nature of the organization. I primarily “lurk” on these forums in order to learn from the older generations who have far more knowledge than I so I contribute minimally. <span style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Perhaps an affinity group subordinate to the NWHS maybe but I still think that’s not the right answer. I do not feel that to expand the focus of the organization to an additional organization is best. I do fondly recall the mixture of SRR & NW equipment when I was a child & would likely join a NS Corp HS if I knew of one. Yes, a plan to pull younger generations is absolutely needed but like this. But till then my membership is up for renewal so I’ll observe to see what culminates for now. </span><div><br id="lineBreakAtBeginningOfSignature"><div dir="ltr"><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Be well,</span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br></span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Chad C.
