<div class="userEdit" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;">  The N&W Historical Society is not alone.  The Michigan Railroad Club has the dame problems.  We put out a nice magazine, have monthly meetings in a nice facility and try to get good programs but our membership  and attendance continues to fall.</span></div>
<div class="userEdit" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;">  Our model railroad group, we have monthly meetings in a nice place.  Usually attendance was around 50.  We still do ok but attendance is at the meetings is closer to 30-40.</span></div>
<div class="userEdit" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;">  The officers have put in a good faith effort to come up with plans to keep the Society going.  If they think giving the NS some coverage, so be it.  Might work, might not but it is worth a try.  If efforts fail to gain new dues paying members than what will happen to all the N&W items that are in our archives?  A lot of people before me have found and donated material to the archives as I also did.  Others have put in a lot of time to organize the archives and to write articles for The Arrow but it all takes money.</span></div>
