Through consultation of an old tracm chart, it has been determined that "The Morri Branch" is the VGN's line running north off the Guyandotte Fast Line at Simon Jct (perhaps formerly called Sloane Jct,) up to the big Kopperston Mine, a distance of about 19 miles. The coordinates:

There is no station or community known as Morri in the entire state of West Virginia. I have checked the gazeteer of historical names, and Morri does not appear. The U.S. Geological Survey has topographic maps of this area dating back to 1893, and none of them show a place called Morri. Nor does the US Coast & Geodetic Survey acknowledge the name Morri.
