And as far as the windows are concerned that arrangement was greatly changed over the years. I don't know much but I do know to date I have currently been involved in returning three C31 cabs back to their original window configuration. It was red in 1974 so were is the proof it was blue. This caboose is very faded red now and I can't find any hint of blue under the paint or primer. All the info I can find seems to point to the fact that this caboose was always red.
