        <div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Jim</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">You are correct.  It is the boiler off N&W class E2b 552.  Not sure when placed in service but think it replaced a class G stationary boiler.  Location just South of the Passenger station as I recall.  I have a couple B&W photos i made in the early 1960's. Not sure how they fired that boiler.  The fireman must have had long legs or a strong throw with a shovel. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Now what I don't have and frankly never seen is a photo of the stationary boiler near the roundhouse.  It was the boiler off N&W class Y1 997.   There were two other Y1 stationary boilers at Shaffers crossing.  They were used when the roundhouse was first bluilt.  A lot of photos of the boiler house and twin stacks.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Jjim Blackstock </div><div><br></div>
