<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">It’s not N&W, and I’ll have to see if I can find pictures, but I’m sure there was one for the Winston-Salem Southbound RR in Salem, VA. It might have been near what began the power station for the Winston-Salem trolley line. Greensboro, NC (Southern) also had at least one at the road crossing near the old passenger station.

I have been told that in some cases, after they were no longer used at crossings , they were removed from their towers and placed at various locations for different uses.<o:p></o:p></p>
