O scale

Hi John;

Outdoors, use nickel silver rail, extruded foam painted with exterior latex paint (NOT oil) for structure, if you use plastic ties, paint them with a good paint to protect them from UV degradation.

  I too have plans for an O'scale layout, but currently no space. I'd still like to hear from other O-scalers. I'm considering going back into HO what with BLI and others coming out with all the sound things, and the cost and space factor. Hard to decide.I could put track out on the deck, but exposure to the weather here would probably be disastrous.  Anybody else with that problem?
