You will undoubtedly find that the N&W's RS-3 locomotives were unique 
as RS-3's go.  There is one stuffed and mounted at the museum in 
Roanoke.  I have been attempting to model one for a while now, and 
the main limitation that I find is getting good photos of the 
topside, which includes the dynamic brakes, to model from.  If there 
is no reference to take measurements from, then it is difficult to 
calculate the size of various non-standard components.  I received 
copies of photos taken by another N&W fan a while back, and can 
provide you with copies if you contact me off list.  Please keep us 
informed on your progress.
