 What has never been appreciated, nor stated in this discussion, is that N&W 
was a heavy user of the Battleship gondola, and I believe rostered more than 
VGN. One VGN battleship car managed to remain in the back yard at Princeton 
until 1960, was featured in H. Reids book, but strings of them had not been 
is use for quite a number of years. N&W had moved on to other designs by 
then.  I believe a larger market would exist for an N&W car, especially 
since Proto 2000 has already provided us with a correct Y3 2-8-8-2.
