N&W K question

There has been a post about the Spectrum Heavy Mountain loco and it's resembling a K.The question of streamlining also came up.stream.  Ed King mentioned that it would work for a K-2 or K-2a unstreamlined.  My question is when was the last k-2 (K-2a) streamlined?  I'm modeling 50's-mainly in the mid decade.
