Bay windows

By union agreements in effect on the Lake Region (former NKP), N&W  was
obliged to furnish engines with the bay windows from a date in  November
through the cold weather.  It's been a while, but I believe the  stationary
windows remained in place.  The bay windows didn"t offer  much protection
from the lake winds so the engine crews would leave  the stationary windows
closed until it was necessary to look for a  signal
