Tenders

The question on tender stencils is not as simple as it looks on first  
glance.  First, need to know the size of the N&W tender as the letter  height on the 
smaller tenders was smaller.  A second question is the time  period being 
modeled.  During the 1930's and early 1940's, the N&W  carried the road name on 
the side of the cab with nothing on the flanks of the  tenders.  The railroad 
began placing its name on the tender flanks again in  the 1940's.
