F-units

[NW Modeling List]

The N&W inherited103 F-7A's and 2 F-7B's from the Wabash.  The last of these ran into the mid/late 1970's between Windsor, Ont and Buffalo, NY. The book Norfolk and Western, First Generation Diesels has information, pictures, and data on these units.  These units wers painted both blue and black with 1/2 moon bN&W's and spelled out Norfolk and Western.

  I saw an add from Bowser showing F-units lettered for Norfolk and Western. I did not know that Norfolk and Western owned or ran F-units
