Late HL Hoppers

[NW Modeling List]

Out of curiosity, what would be the purpose or reason someone would alter the car/photo?  (Other than screwing up us modelers 60+ years later!)

Quite interesting!  They restenciled/repainted a H9... note the Norfolk N stencil on both cars... the fuax HL is crooked.  Both cars have the same repack date and location, but the paint date was changed from Roanoke to Portsmouth...

     Did anybody notice in the side views that the B end is on one side of the  picture and in the other picture on the other side?
