Q on Rapido Passenger Cars

[NW Modeling List]

Trucks that match the T89 are easy to find, as they were the common type modeled earlier (Rivarossi, MDC, ConCor, etc...even Walthers did them). The problem will be finding trucks that fit where the Rapido ones were. (May turn out to be easy - I have not examined a car, but I know the Walthers line has a distinctive mounting system. Fortunately, Walthers makes two kinds of trucks and the mountings are alike).    Jim Nichols

Dave, you mention the trucks, are there any commercial trucks that are available that match, or closely match that of the T89 truck that those cars rode on?

    I see that Rapido is offereing N&W Smoothside passenger cars of various type. I've seen other roadnames from Rapido, so I know the quality. I'm wondering how accurate they are to N&W? Color aside, which is always a hot topic with this group and with the PRR group, are teh cars done as a close-enough on prototype or a dead-on match, i.e. window arrangements and so-forth?
     
    I'm looking at getting some coaches for an NS excursion and business train.
