Ed,
I'm not sure what might be available in the Society's archives; you may want to do a search in that database.
As for an NS contact, I'd have to defer to Ron Davis.

Hi Jim

I have been searching for more photos of one of the coal piers at Lambert's Point (either #4 or #5).  Not much luck so far and I thought on my way from Alpharetta GA to the convention in VA I'd try to stop by and take a bunch of photos and measurements.

Before I embark on a letter-writing campaign to get permission from the NorfolkSouthern, I was wondering if the Society had a point of contact in the company?

Thanks and I'm keeping in mind the article for the Arrow.

Ed,

Whatever your decision, please consider writing an article about your efforts for the Arrow.

I have an idea you have in mind dockside action, in which event the
below does not apply.
Just in case, N&WHS' Standards Drawings book (1992) includes coal
trestle/warf drawings.  I built an N-Scale trestle from the p. 96
drawing, which turned out fine.
