I suggest the NWSL "W" class 2-8-0.   They were used into the late 1940's
and were similar to the M's.  They had the same boiler, wheel diameter and I
think cylinders and early Baker valve gear.  Since I model the 1930's It was
almost a necessity to get one.  I have 2 M's and 7 Powerhouse Y3's, a Z1 and
a K3.
