The original metal plates were 24". In HO Scale that works out to be .275  
of an inch. The heralds on our HO107 Norfolk and Western diesels are .275.

If you are using decals (and I assume you will) make the medallions the  
same size as the script heralds on your decal sheet.

Hello friends!  I'm thinking about modeling a N&W GP9 in the  late 50's 
scheme.  I'm wondering what the were dimensions of the  medallions the Geeps 
wore.  Any help would be nice.
