4-8-0 whistle

Hello
I have an n&w 4-8-0 on order with 3rdrail in o scale 2 rail. Apparently they are not providing DCC decoders for the 2rail versions of their brass steam. 

I know there was one special whistle on the Abington branch. But speaking more generally, Is the freight hooter as heard on the Y's and A's an appropriate correct whistle for this model?
