<div><span style="color: rgb(38, 40, 42);">G'day</span></div></div><div id="ydpe10eb644yahoo_quoted_5588630465" class="ydpe10eb644yahoo_quoted"><div style="font-size: 13px;"><div style=""><div id="ydpe10eb644yiv9701139159" style=""><div style=""><div style="font-size: 24px;" class="ydpe10eb644yiv9701139159ydp86103067yahoo-style-wrap"><div style="color: rgb(38, 40, 42); font-family: garamond, new york, times, serif;" dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><div><div><br></div><div>I found recently that some N&W H2/H3 hoppers were sold to the Wabash. </div><div><br></div><div>The author of a site " Tales From the River - Hoppers 3&4 bay" states (nearly) corrextly, after examining some ORER data, that Wabash had acquired what he surmised were some H2a hoppers. </div><div> </div><div><br></div><div>This information turned out to be right. </div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>But the "Tales From the River" guy ALSO points to a similar series of SL-SF hoppers which first appear in the Frisco entry in the April 1963 ORER and are present in ORERs through July 1965, but which are no longer listed in the July 1966 ORER. </div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>They are 23 hoppers, numbered 94000-94022. </div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>I can find no photographic evidence of them on the Frisco. </div><div> </div><div><br></div><div>The date of their appearance pretty well aligns with that of the H2 / H3 hoppers on the Wabash. </div><div><br></div><div>So I am wondering if anyone knows of the sale / lease / transfer of H2 / H3 / H2a hoppers to the Frisco - or to a dealer - whereby they may have ended up on the Frisco? </div><div><br></div><div>[Sorry about my earlier message, which I messed up by including a weblink and image.]</div><div><br></div><div>Best regards, </div><div><br></div><div>Ben Scanlon</div><div>London, UK</div></div><br></div></div></div></div></div>
