<p>Thanks Jim. Another set of cars I won't purchase, just like the
Bachman smooth sides just issued, they are not worth the money,
especially these days.<br>

Nichols did a very nice presentation on modeling this class of
cars at last year's convention. the number of windows is
correct, but the lavatory windows and doors are wrong. also
the lower panels and riveting are incorrect.</div>
<div>The baggage is decorated for an N&W class BEg. In this
case the model has two identical doors spaced nearer the ends
of the car, whereas the BEg had a single door and a double
door spaced nearer the car center.</div>
<div>Whether these cars are "close enough" to be used as
stand-ins is of course in the eye of the beholder,</div>

<p>Has anyone looked at the newly announced heavyweights to
determine if the Norfolk and Western actually had any of
them or if they are just painted to look like real Norfolk
and Western rolling stock? All I can tell is at least the
coach is not the popular paired window coach that was
never owned by my favorite railroad. <br>
