Complying with the increasing number <br></div><div dir="ltr">and complexity of anti-spam and other e-mail filters on the Internet has <br></div><div dir="ltr">reached a breaking point. Our provider Pair.com announced that they will <br></div><div dir="ltr">end support for mailing lists at the end of this year.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">After reviewing our options, we determined that *groups.io*?is our best <br></div><div dir="ltr">option for continuing to maintain the NW-Mailing-List.<br></div><div dir="ltr">Groups.io expanded features such as file and photo sharing should make <br></div><div dir="ltr">the NW-Mailing-List a better tool for sharing our collective knowledge <br></div><div dir="ltr">and resources. Another consideration was that groups.io will not resell <br></div><div dir="ltr">our email addresses or target marketing material to you.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">As part of this move we will be merging our other lists such as the <br></div><div dir="ltr">nw-modeling-list into the one nw-mailing-list.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">You will soon receive an email from Groups.io notifying you that you <br></div><div dir="ltr">have been added to the groups.io NW-Mailing-List. A link is included in <br></div><div dir="ltr">the email for logging in and establishing an account password. (Yes <br></div><div dir="ltr">another darn password!) Fortunately you will not need the password to <br></div><div dir="ltr">participate in the NW-Mailing-List. Messages will continue to be email <br></div><div dir="ltr">based although now a web interface is available for those that prefer <br></div><div dir="ltr">that choice. The difference will be that emails will be sent to <br></div><div dir="ltr"><*nw-mailing-list@groups.io*> instead of to the nwhs.org domain.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">As we make this transition, *check your email spam settings* and make <br></div><div dir="ltr">sure the address <<a href="mailto:nw-mailing-list@groups.io" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">nw-mailing-list@groups.io</a>> is whitelisted so you will <br></div><div dir="ltr">see all the messages from the list.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">If you are already using groups.io with the same e-mail address, <br></div><div dir="ltr">NW-Mailing-List will show up in Your Groups.<br></div><div dir="ltr">If you are new to groups.io, please click on the link included in the <br></div><div dir="ltr">email to establish a password to go with your email address.
