Starts with walks in the Arroyo Seco, trans. DRY STREAM, a concrete riverbed in Los Angeles, then somewhere on to Connecticut, North Carolina, New York, Palo Alto, Milan, Buffalo, Liverpool, San Francisco, and back to New York where a paper alphabet of WET LETTERS photographed by Shannon Ebner were converted into an animated gif by O-R-G in advance of a website which assembles and prints a book, *now.*

STRAY.WORLD is an online project by Shannon Ebner, designed and programmed by O-R-G, hosted and developed with Source Type, and released with Fillip, Marfa Books, and Radio Athènes.

How can a camera be so sure that its subjects are willing to be seen if not heard, to be in the weather if not destroyed by it, to be in the war if not moving away from it, to be wet words in a hot field?
