It would appear that the most likely explanation of AG's state is the
safest, we've pissed him off!
I quizzed Tom Halstead, the Domain Administrator, and this is the reply I've
just received.

Thank you for your concern and support.  The site will not disappear nor
is Mark out of commission.  I have spoken to him just the other day and
he is aware of your and others' concern.
