[Slowhand] Converting to DVD

One of my friends has a copy of the Cream concert that BBC recently
transmitted on a SKY+ box.  I've been promised a copy on DVD unfortunately
neither of us know how to get it onto the DVD.  We could transfer the
concert onto a Digital Video camera and link that up to the PC but after
that we're lost.  Will some kind soul please let me know (preferably in
simple steps) how to go about putting the files onto the PC & then onto a
DVD.
