[Slowhand] PBS alert re winwood Clapton

It is good to read the recent wave of posts!  Are we just too busy these days?  I have a four year
old boy and a nine month and while I read I hardly post. As for EC content my 4 year old asks me to
sing layla to him every night (the mid tempo version with Dr John is how I sound IMHO). To my
delight as we drove together the other day I cranked "crossroads" from WofF and he said "Eric
Clapton!!"

To take this full circle, I completely enjoyed myself watching the Winwood Clapton dvd with my 82
year old father. He's seen many jazz greats and is a fan of Wes Montgomery and he was impressed by
EC and was tapping his foot.

Oh, back to my point.........I just got the following Clapton Update via email....

once-in-a-lifetime reunion concert in Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood: Live From Madison Square Garden
Thursday, May 28 at 8 p.m. (ET) on THIRTEEN’s Great Performances on PBS (check local listings).
Presented in 5.1 digital surround sound on PBS HD, the special telecast captures Clapton and Winwood
at New York’s Madison Square Garden performing songs from their short-lived Blind Faith
collaboration, including Presence of the Lord, Can’t Find My Way Home, Well All Right, along with
hits from their respective solo careers.
