This footage is either a fake or simply a matter of a gentleman resembling Clapton doing his own laundry.
 
Eric is on tour, and played in San Jose, CA on the 2nd of March (or 1st?) and is playing in Sacramento on Thursday, 3/3.  I'm attending the Sac show.  So he was not even in LA on the date the TMZ caption indicates. FYI.
