Many of my customers in the Katrina stricken areas are wondering what to do
about mold in their home, or the homes of friends and family. Mold is
nothing to take likely. As a mold professional I must advise you to take
the advise of experts. This will include samples of the space to determine
the extent and classification of mold. Then to remove or remediate at your
earliest. You should also sanitize the space. This can be used with an
ozone machine, a radiant catalytic ionization unit or a combination of both.
There will be many who will not opt for the professional advise because of
both expense and time. To those of you in this catagory consider the
following:
a. take pictures of each effected room;
b. take samples to determine the type;
c. sanitize with the above mentioned machines;
d. remove or treat the moldy surfaces;
e. take follow up sample to determine the effectiveness of the your work.

Let me repeat that as a professional I must advise you to have a
professional call the shots. However, if you decide to not use a
professional I can provide you the following products and services:
1. Swab and tape sample kits for analysis at a certified laboratory;
2. Rental or sale of an ozone generating machine;
3. Addition, upgrade or replacement of air and water purification products.

Maybe all you need is to mitigate the odors caused by rotting food, mildew
or other sources. Consider a night with an odor eliminator.

I look forward to hearing from you should you need my assistance,
