Courthouse Takes Steps to Reopen

St. Bernard Parish's court system will take its first steps toward operating
again when magistrate court is held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, to set
bonds for people arrested.

Generators are supplying electrical power to the Courthouse in Chalmette,
enabling some court functions to start back up, including magistrate court,
state District judge Robert Buckley said.
