Update from State Representative Nita Rusich Hutter

The Louisiana Community and Technical College system has a new construction
training program to help unemployed workers learn new skills to aid in
rebuilding the hurricane-damaged areas. More information is available at
www.lctcs.net.

Attention Tulane, Xavier, Dillard and Loyola Students & Staff: Tulane,
Xavier, Dillard and Loyola universities have formed a consortium to allow
Xavier and Dillard to hold classes on Tulane and Loyola's campuses this
spring, as well as share meeting and administrative space.

Classes resumed at UNO on Monday, the first New Orleans-area university to
open fall semester classes after Hurricane Katrina. The Lakefront campus is
closed, though, and classes are being held at the school's Jefferson Center
building in Metairie and high schools on the West Bank and Northshore.
