[StBernard] Renew Insurance coverage?

OK, what do I do?  Can anyone answer this?

My homeowners insurance and flood insurance is due to be paid again on Oct.
31st.  Since my home was a total loss with water into the attic/roof, do I
really need to continue coverage on a home that is destroyed?  All my
contents were ruined; the house will probably need to be bulldozed.  I can't
see paying nearly $800 (each) for flood and homeowners.  Should I just not
renew?  Anyone?
